Early in 2004, the million-member
Handyman Club of America tested
BackSaver among 500 random members.
Responses exceeded a 92% favorability
rate. Results will be printed in
the May/June issue of Handy Magazine.
Following are some of the responses:
I have tested the Backsaver on
my weed eater and I liked it. This
Backsaver is even better then the
grip that came on it. It sure helps
the back.

Very handy little gadget you have
created. Used it the second day
after I received it in the mail
to help with trimming my trees.
Also used it with a shovel. Worked
very well. I am a member of the
Handyman club and am giving the
product a thumbs up review.

Thank you very much for allowing
me to test this product. I used
it yesterday and it works very well.
I used my shovel in the planting
of fifteen trees and there was a
lot less strain on my back with
the BackSaver Grip.
Thanks again,

The Back Saver works very well.
I have been using it on a leaf rake,
but plan to use it on a large dip
net.

From one who has had a chronic back
problem, I need to thank you for
your product. I first used it when
mopping the floor and did not have
to take a pain pill in order to
finish. Usually I take one before
I start and another in the interim.

What I like about this product
is not only the back saving design
but saying good bye to the blister
I used to get between my thumb and
index finger from raking and shoveling.
I recently completed a full interior
paint job on my mother in laws house
and utilized the BackSaver on my
paint pole. It felt very natural
to use. Thank you for the opportunity
to test your product.

The Back Saver made using my lawn
rake much more comfortable. My hands
rested on the Back Saver grip instead
of the shaft of the rake and it
was a much more comfortable position.

Highly recommend! Tuff plastic did
all chores well. Used with shovel
for gravel, then raked leaves and
plan to use on a hoe this spring
for gardening. Also used for push
broom. This product makes chores
much easier and less tiring. Great
for less bending and leaning, thus
reducing back strain. Probably will
order more for family members.

I used the Back Saver on my rake
and shovel. I was able to notice
how much power it gave for lifting
or pulling. My back was not fatigued
as usual, considering I had back
surgery 8 months ago. The trick
is to get the handle positioned
in the proper place for each individual.

As a fishing aid, it works great
when catching large fish. More leverage
to work the fish. With landing net
-- great! Better lifting power with
less bending and straining of back.
Saves on blisters on yard rake,
too. I have muscular dystrophy and
this makes so many things easier
with hands, arms and shoulders and
prevents back strain.

I used it first on my tree trimmer
and to my amazement I was able to
move the pole around with ease due
to the leverage. I then put the
Back Saver grip on my fishing pole
and the ease and control again I
received in bringing up my catch
was a WOW!!! Fun, easy, no strain
and controllable.

My wife really enjoyed it. We both
feel it reduces fatigue and allows
us to work longer at a stretch

at the Utah Highway Department wrote
in a letter addressed to other dept
heads throughout Utah:
Dave Wilk,
from MBS, sent me an interesting
item I feel is worth your consideration.
It is a hard plastic clip which
can be secured to long handled tools
like shovels, brooms, etc. It is
in
essence a 'D' ring handle which
makes working with (lifting) especially
a shovel loaded with pothole filling,
snow or whatever much more ergonomically
correct. It is just plain easier
on the body.
I took a sample
clip home and attached it to my
pitch fork, and fed my stock with
it for a few days, and I won't part
with mine. This is a good idea which
you may want to consider.
Brenda Fay of the NY State DOT also
wrote that she loves the product
and is recommending our Grip to
Safety Departments across the state
of NY.
